I made this Google Map.
It will help you find the locations listed here in this photo album. I may have some notes
or comments on finding particular places so please look through this album and see my comments before
you fire up the map. Aside from Togo Beach on the map, I've been to and tested every one
of these locations, so I can say with certainty that the map works well and is ready to go.

To avoid confusion, I should state this: when I talk about You-chan, I mean the character
Watanabe You. I do not mean you, the reader. Here's an example to dmonstrate:

You-chan has many fans.
Even Venom Snake is a fan of Watanabe You, which is why he has
her image on his cardboard box.
"Zensoku zenshin yousoro!"

You can almost always click on a photo here to view it in full size.
A lot of the photos on this page were taken with my phone.

After going to the Miku concert and getting the locker issue sorted at the hostel, I rushed over to the
train station to get to Numazu to begin my Love Live Sunshine holy spot tour. I was able to get on the
last train bound for Numazu from Tokyo. It's easily reached from Tokyo and you don't even need to
pay for a Shinkansen ticket. Granted it can take a bit longer but I'd rather wait more if it means I
can save more on the cost of getting over there.

I was happy to come across this when I arrived at the station. I think of it as an auspicious sign.

Not too far away from the station was a Media Cafe Popeye. It is marked on the google map and can
be reached from the South exit of the Numazu train station.

Look for this:

It's on the third floor of the building, so look up and you'll see it. It's the sign with the
white circle and the red M inside the circle.

Yes, it's a manga kissa. They're full of manga and other books, but the
great thing about these is that they are far cheaper than staying at a hotel .

I spent well under $25 for my evening stay here and that included the use of the shower room.
And by the way, if you want to stay at one of these places, you will have to be very quiet. Other people are
trying to sleep there. But let's go back to an overview of what the place offers, which included free wifi.

Apologies, but the light level in the internet cafe was so low that manual photography
would have required me to set up a tripod. I used my phone to take these photos.

They have a variety of things you can choose from, but I like to keep things simple and inexpensive.

I typically go with a cubicle + reclining chair setup. I can lean back in those and get a few hours of sleep
after I lock the door to the cubicle.

There are also cords or outlets where I can hook up a charger and charge my phone + batteries or
other gear. When I was traveling in Numazu I'd hook up my phone
to a charger, connect to their wifi, and upload photos I'd synched to the phone up to google photos.
The cubicle also has noise isolating headphones for you
to use while you watch youtube videos or other things. By the way, I dun goofed - I wasn't supposed
to bring my drink back here. I quietly took the cup and threw it away after I took the photo.

The cubicle came with an office pc set up with an optic fibre internet connection. Logging on was simple -
just look for the circle to indicate that you agree to the terms of service (don't bring in pets, don't
make a lot of noise and bother other people, don't talk on your cell phone loudly, etc.) and
then click it.

They had several vending machines. The drinks were free, and one off to the side also dispensed
hot food for a nominal cost.

The drink machines also had controls where you could customize your drink the way you wanted it.
From left to right, the selections included sugar, cream, and coffee. The respective buttons underneath
indicate whether you want a lot or a little. For my cafe au lait I got it with extra coffee and milk but less
sugar.

The community note where we were allowed to draw pictures, sign our names, etc.

A cute image of Chika-chan, Riko-chan, and You-chan. I think the person who drew the heart is
expressing his good wishes for You-chan and for her to have a happy birthday.

I signed in using the guestbook.

Time to get some photos of their Love Live Sunshine display.

I'm not really a fan of YouRiko.

I think I'm more into YouChika, especially since You-chan imagined herself giving Chika-chan
a good kabedon.

In addition to Yoshiko Yohane and You-chan, I also really like Hanamaru-chan. Her seiyuu is excellent
and always nice to hear.

After getting some photos of the display, I took note of the time. 2332 hours! It was well past time for
me to get to bed, especially since I was going to get up early the next morning to take photos.

Again, this internet cafe can be reached from the South exit of the Numazu train station.

On the next page I'll tell you about some other important things in and nearby the station
