(Creepy music plays.)
Fujimura: Welcome, everyone listening to the CD! This is Fujimura Ayumi.
Honda: This is Honda Takako.
Fujimura: You've heard the digest for parts 1 and 2 on the CD. How were they? When we
started I was really nervous and -
Honda: We kept bumping into each other's sentences when we talked (laughs)
Fujimura: Yes! (laughs) But it's not like an omiai. It's more of us saying Ah-ah. Or bumping hands.
Ah! (a pause)
So a lot has happened -
Honda: Yes.
Fujimura: How is it? I've been having fun, but I'm still a bit nervous. Maybe they think the
CD's falling into chaos.
Honda: Don't worry. That's not the case. Anyway, in the notes it says that people say Shiki's
name with a lot of love.
Fujimura: (whispered) That's right.
Honda: Her character has all these different aspects. A lot of people want her to speak sweetly and
full of love. That's how some of the fans think. That was neat.
Fujimura: Originally, this corner was supposed to be about Azaka-chan.
Honda: Oh, that's right.
Fujimura: So now it feels like you're trying to convert her into a Shiki fan.
Honda: There are lots of cute episodes.
Fujimura: So gradually it's working.
I like Shiki. Maybe I'll forget about oniichan.
Honda: Azaka-chan . . .
Fujimura: But he's only my oniichan.
Honda: That is true.
Fujimura: It's so embarrassing.
Fujimura: They've got me making these big reactions after I read the lines.
Honda: Yep.
Fujimura: They have you saying all these cool and interesting lines.
Honda: But it feels like I'm making a demon.
Fujimura: But this is just what she planned. I have no choice but to endure it.
Honda: My apologies. But from here on out, interesting things will just keep piling up.
Fujimura: (laughs) I think I'm becoming a masochist.
Honda: I see.
Fujimura: I got wound up in that. So if I get hurt, I'll say ouch but will also become really happy.
I gotta go up that stairway.
Honda: Then please show that in this corner.
Fujimura: Although it's really embarrassing. Maybe after it's all over. Then I'll be happy.
Oh, this has become dangerous. (laughs)
Honda: This'll continue to happen.
Fujimura: Indeed. Even in the Teach Me! Kara no Kyoukai corner.
We expect a lot of questions. By the way, we always get many messages from our listeners,
and with the feeling of gratitude, we'll try out the corner on this CD where we rely on
our listeners.
Honda: Ooooh.
Fujimura: Here we go. Knockdown Ryougi Shiki! Shiki's Eyewitness Corner
There we are.
Honda: How do you feel about this corner? And Shiki's weakness? Did you come to understand it?
Although we said one before.
Fujimura: I don't know. She's so cute. It's aggravating. Even though I'm her rival.
For some reason, everyone loves Shiki. There's nothing to be done.
Honda: There were lots of cases like that.
What about getting love confessions from other girls?
Fujimura: She probably got some. She's got a handsome face.
Honda: And if she got close to them, their hearts would race.
Fujimura: If they saw her walking after school, one might run up, give her a letter, ask her to read it,
and then run off.
Honda: Running off in a dash.
Fujimura: Then Shiki would look at the letter and be troubled. Maybe she'd show it to Mikiya.
Honda: That'd be the end of that. How would Mikiya respond? I'm sure he'd be troubled.
Fujimura: How would niisan respond? It's funny. Anyway, we have some additional information.
I think I'll read it. We got this from Pushika-chan. Thanks. "This morning I tried really hard to
extract my bag from the door, where it was stuck." (laughs)
Honda: She tried really hard to do that.
Fujimura: "What I thought was - I stuck this in the door. I need to get it out. I'm responsible."
Shiki wouldn't open the door. She'd just dispose of the thing stuck in it. (laughs)
Honda: It wouldn't occur to her to do something about the door.
Fujimura: I don't think she would. "Dang bag, stuck in the door!"
Honda: It does seem that way.
Fujimura: That's the feeling I have.
Honda: Agreed.
Fujimura: At first I thought they were talking about the bag getting stuck in a train door, but it turns
out they were talking about the door of a house.
Honda: Like gesa?
Fujimura: The door to one's own home.
Honda: Surely.
Fujimura: So - wham! The door's broken. I once broke a door.
Honda: You have experience with this stuff?
Fujimura: I was putting my randoseru backpack in a locker. The locker had the same width as the
randoseru. There were some metal fixtures on the side of the randoseru - like for
an envelope for lunch payment. When I pulled the backpack out, those got stuck. Back then I wasn't as
careful as I am now, so I pulled it out with force. The screw in the door broke. The fixtures were
metal, you see. I was really surprised.
Honda: It's like Asagami Fujino's ability.
Fujimura: Really! The part on the backpack wasn't damaged. But the metal screw in the door broke. I was an
elementary school student!
Honda: Fujimura-san's story of . . . that!
Fujimura: I was really surprised! This power is really strong!
Honda: So this isn't only about Shiki. Let's go on to the next thing. We got something from Jaksonmondai.
Thank you very much. "Although Shiki likes to eat, she only had salad."
Fujimura: That's right. Only that one bit was left.
Honda: Really?
Fujimura: Like she wanted to give it to Mikiya.
Honda: I get the feeling that Mikiya would be cavalier about taking Shiki's food and eating it.
Fujimura: Shiki didn't eat it, so he decided to do that. But she might complain.
Even though she chose the salad herself. What's with all the lovey-dovey!?
Honda: You imagined that and then you got jealous.
Fujimura: I imagined that on my own.
Honda: Yup, that's Azaka-chan. (laughs)
Fujimura: (laughs)
Honda: One more, please.
Fujimura: This one's from "not a mage but someone in training to be one". That's hard to say.
"The other day, I was in the middle of an evening walk. I saw Shiki-ojousama in a local shop.
She filled the shelves full of Kara no Kyoukai novels, and displaced some other books in the process.
It happened quickly. Don't try this at home, kids."
It sounds like it was really fast - and you couldn't see it.
Honda: Not visible.
Fujimura: Maybe it left behind an afterimage.
Honda: (laughs) But he's cooperating with us. Of course.
Fujimura: Hmm. Shiki, while walking back home, could have done something like that with machine-gun
speed.
Honda: Super-fast, with afterimages. Isn't that cute?
Fujimura: It's cute, but I wouldn't want to be close. There were probably no other people around.
Honda: It was at night.
Fujimura: That's right! If I imagine it - if I imagine a lot of situations with these characters, it's interesting.
Maybe I'm a dangerous person.
Honda: Fujimura-san, you're good at thinking this stuff up.
Fujimura: I'm going all-out.
Honda: It's an interesting thing to think about. (laughs)
Fujimura: (laughs)
Honda: Maybe there's enough there to make one more Kara no Kyoukai story.
Fujimura: I dunno. I'm sorry to tell the fans I don't think so. I think there are many people who'd listen to
my fantasies and disagree.
Honda: I still think it'd be interesting if there was one more Kara no Kyoukai episode.
Fujimura: Another Story. Nasu wouldn't write this one - the cast would think this one up.
Honda: It could be interesting.
Fujimura: Things are heating up. Someone saw Shiki for real.
Honda: Even so, she has some weaknesses.
Fujimura: Some.
Honda: But we think they're cute.
Fujimura: They pop out.
Honda: The example of the bag was a little extreme.
Fujimura: You shouldn't get too close. I don't know how other people would react to
that if it were revealed.
Honda: We have to watch secretly.
Fujimura: Indeed. And that's it for Shiki's Eyewitness Corner. I wonder what's happening back at
Ahnenerbe?
Honda: Azaka-chan, it's time for your appearance.
