Inside, the hotel had a clean, modern, sort of Ikea thing working for it. 
The kitchen was clean and simple. 









 One of the standard munchable items from anime cons, the Oats n Honey Nature Valley granola bar, 
featured heavily in my suitcase during the trip. They are cheap  gave me plenty of energy for long walks, 
didn't take up a ton of space in my suitcase, didn't require me to cook on the road, etc. 



One regret I had is that I didn't eat at the hotel cafe with the other guests. The cost of a meal 
there was 1000 yen, and I was making do with snacks brought from the states, cheap konbini fare, 
etc. I also brought over Maxwell House coffee single bags, which work like tea bags.
